Snowing hard here in the Hudson Valley.....granddaughter is seeing snow fall for the 1st time in her life...she is 7 and we just went sledding.... found 2 sleds in the basement...one was a Ninja Turtle snow sled....we just walked over to the hill near the Library and went down a few times....snow still coming down..will go out again after lunch...she is leaving for Austin tomorrow morning..last day in NY..for the 1st time in 20 years I was hoping there is snow...

Johnnies coming off biggest win in years blowing out the Cuse in the Dome 93-60....is that the real Johnnies...no ....Haven't played them because Lovett has been in and out of lineup...he is back..Johnnies can shoot and that's about it...and they did vs the 2-3 Cuse zone...but fundamentally they are bad...maybe they are getting better and only can go up but Mullens has had 2 yrs now as a college coach and showed nothing...forget adjustments...they just lost to Penn St by 16 before the cuse game...they have a lot of talent theri gds.. Ponds,Lovett and Mussini{ not playing tonite}.Ahmed sometimes looks great and inside Owens,Yakwe are so inconsistent...on the def bds they are terrible...Butler just reloads and continues to win...there 3 inside players are outstanding... Chracz is playing like all conf avg only 12 but does everything. Martin who last yr in the 2 wins over the Johnnies is avg 19 pts...he scored 18 and 20 lyr in both wins over Johnnies 78-58 and 89-56...Butler defense gives up 64 pts a game...and Butler has played and beaten, Indy,Cinncy,Utah and Vandy already...Lewis is a solid 5'11 pt gd with 65 assists...Cuse is not going to get open shots tonite...Butler wins by double d's...
Kentucky -10.5 over Miss **
To much talent...everywhere...playing away means nothing to these young kids...is just another AAU game but this one is in Mississippi....
Auburn -1.5 over Georgia **
The 'Pearl" is back..
Loy-Chi -5.5 over Drake **
Zaga -26.5 over Pepper **
Pepper has one scorer in Murray....Zaga loaded at home...win by 30...
San Diego +11 over San Fran **
Toreros have 2 scorers that both avg 17 and 18 pts..if someone else on that team scores they will give the Dons a game...
St Marys -12 over Loy Mary **
Mary has played well..at home...but if Mary brings its "A" game ... Landale,Herman and those gds that can pass better then anybody in the country...think the Mary with the Saint wins this...they shoot better,play better defense..Mary L hasn't played anybody and lost by 3 to a good UTA team....but this Mary is in another class..
ODU -5.5 over William and Mary **
That's a lot of mary's playing tonite...ODU doesn't lose at home...think their ATS record as a favorite at home is 8-2..ODU plays tough defense..
Tenn +8 over Texas AM **
Think Vols although on the rd can hang with the Aggies...
