St Marys -14 over UTA **
Small play because this line is now -15 or -15.5....that is close enough for me to flip the play....hate going against the Mav's...they have a good pt gd in Neal who is quick and can handle the ball...Charles can stick the 3 from anywhere,,Jones and Wilson are both 6'2 gds but muscular and strong....inside Bilboa and Pope who are both 6'8 or 6'9 do a good job and you have 6'9 Hervey who can play all 5 positions....he can go out and hit a 3,post up inside or play the wing...a nightmare on how to gd him....a future NBA player....I think they will score tonite but will have problems on defense...Mary has the 2 best gd tandem in the country with Naar and Ruhon..they have 46 and 37 assists already and lead the nation in asst-turnover ratio...they have an aircraft carrier in 6'10 Landale...he was a battleship last yr but has improved so much I had to elevate his ship status...avg 19 pts and 9 bds and is a force inside...Hermonson is the other gd that can score but Pineau comes off the bench at 6'9 and scores and rebounds....Mary is coming off a 15 pt win over Stanford the other nite..UTA after beating Texas has played North Texas and Texas something....tonite the Mavs will be tested ..they lost to Arkansas and Minny by 4 and 17....and Florida Gulf by 15...UTA should win the Sun conf and are good....but they are going against a much better team that can flat out score...think Mavs have trouble stopping the big guy in the middle and the Mary's gds....and what ever you do...do not foul Mary...they shoot 81% from the FT line....2 or 3 in the country...
Iowa St -5 over Iowa ****
Throw the best player on the floor theory out because Iowa's 6'6 gd Jok in no joke.....avg 23 pts a game..rebounds,passes,etc....but he will be outnumberd tonite...Morris the pt gd is a close 2nd...tonite gets his 600 assist..has 50 so far this year...Clones have 4 or gds that can play....inside they are avg but play tough defense..Iowa has trouble on defense giving up 83 pts a game..,,Iowa's 2nd best player Cook is still out...they have big time trouble on the def. bds....Cyones have won the past 6 of last 7 or 7 of 8....they play better defense and Fran will be screaming at the refs..Iowa will no get a few close calls and Fran is good for at least 1 tech... but State should be up by 10 pts so it won't make a difference..State could have the best 3 or 4 gds combo in the country....and Morris is going to the NBA....good backcourts negate the home crowd advantage ......sometimes
Fordham-Johnnies--have to pass...not sure if Lovar is playing for Johnnies..if he's not I would grab the +5.5..if he's playing the rams could be in trouble...will pass either way...
Fl St -27 over Nichols **
FSU avgs over 87 pts and gives up 68....Nichols defense cannot stop them...and they cannot score enough .. they just lost by 32 pts to La-Laf...FSU wins this by +30...

Creighton scared me in the 1st half..winning by 15 and then leading by 1 at halftime... 2nd half put them away....
Tonight going to Erwin Center,home of the Texas Longhorns..but not to see them..have tickets to see Andrea Bocelli .....my Christmas gift early...but will be checking my phone to get updates ...hopefully will belt out a song like Ave Marie if Iowa St is up 12 at the half....ciao for now...
