Iona coming off big win over a terrible UCSB team...but Gaels are playing better defense and with Cassell and Severe at gds they are more in control.. they actually have 5 players with over 14 assists and Cassell with 37....Much who has been quiet broke out for 20 the other nite and Casmir 2 yrs ago was a All Maac rookie... Washington inside is there only post player and he can score..no depth..though....Towson plays good defense but think they have trouble vs Iona 's offense...as long as Washinton can stay out of foul trouble.... Towson one of the worst 3 pt shooting teams in the country vs one of the best...

Think Oliver and company way to much for the gauchos...Santa barbara are really hurting this yr...
UTA -4.5 over Loy Mary **
mavs are loaded,can play defense and have outstanding pt gd in Neal and Hervey who can do everything. Marys defense gives up a lot despite they can score...
Canisius +11.5 over Bonnies **
Bonnies own this series and with Mobsley and Adams at gds there aren't any better two in the A-10..but Griffs are playing well and think they can hang with the Bonnies...watched Bonnies beat Army the other nite...think they won by 10 or 11 and had trouble vs the cadets..
Hofstra -1.5 over Siena **
Saints are loaded with Wright at the pt,Onu Bip,Long,etc...but Prides 4 gds Pember,Bernardi,Foreman and Powers are all avg in double d's.Milhalich coached at Niagara for years so knows the saints..and Pride have Rustov at 6'9 who leads the nation in rebounding...
Kansas -20 over UNLV *****
Unlv already lost to Duke by 40,Zona St by 26 and Oregon by 20....think they get smoked by Mason and Jackson alone...Jayhawks win this by +30...there will be as many Kansas fans in the gym then rebel fans..
Troy -2.5 over Cornell **
although Red did play and cover vs USC the other nite think their defense can't keep up with troy..

gave everyone some real good stats on Indy's blowouts.....so far they beat IUPU,Little Rock and Del St by 47,40 and 50... AP cannot play any defense giving up 85 pts a game...they have lost by 47,40,30 and 28 already...so go Tom Cream....you are my hero now...

Del St is still using ice on their necks from whiplash in the Indy game...Fran the man who could win by 50 still won't be sastified and I like that...

Mass has 2 gds in Pipkin and Clarke that are really good..throw in 6'11,320 Hollaway inside...Riders front line is pretty good but not enough on top...

North Texas -5 over San Diego *
SD has 2 players that can score....they have won a few in a row...and got beat bad by USC and UCLA...they have a few 6'7 scorers..NT just lost to Sam Houston at home and just got by SE Louisana..the other nite...Johnson NT's best player didn't play..not sure about tonite either....but NT unleashes its secret weapon tonite..actually they unleashed it the other night vs SE Lo...Frazier the controversial Smoo pt gd that was declared ineligible last yr and might put Smoo on probation...he found a home in Denton..he played the other nite for the 1st time and had 12 pts in 12 minutes...now he can out and out play...has a sore knee but is an impact player..big time...also another gd Woolrige can play....but adding a pt gd that can score,pass and penetrate should make the 2nd half of the season much better for the Mean green....if Johnson doesn't play might pass....but if he does think Frazier and him make a statement...but these guys are so badly coached hate giving any points...but Frazier could explode tonite...unfortunately there will no crowd tonite...will try to update injury..

Jaspers top scorers are all gds at 5'9,6'0,6'0 and 6'2...front line has Waterman...EKU has 6'9 Mayo who is avg 18 pts a game...Jaspers do play better defense and EKU plays none..think EKU outscores Jaspers in the Bronx..and like in Denton theri will be no crowd...
