No one likes giving money to the book but we did here. That's what I get for betting blind but can't win them all, they had a chance to cover late, but they were down 18 at one point in the 2nd half.

What made you like this play? Curious to know your analysis. Thanks!

Well when I askd the magic 8 ball if UTSA would cover the point spread against the Stang's it said "most definitely" 2 out of 3 times. I guess I need a larger sample group

First let me apologize to fatback and ndninvestor and anyone else who followed this errant play. Let me also apologize for my rather flippant response to investor as I was in kind of a bad mood after losing a chunk of change.Coming off as an ass isn't something I strive for.

There were several variables that lined up for me to make this play. However, I did break one of my cardinal rules in asking a bad team to do something good. That coupled with the road weariness were two negative factors that I should have applied to make this a no play.

I rarely watch games anymore. Don't like the ups and downs. My power rankings had this game as a pickem. I do check box scores to plug in information. What really stood out for me was that UTSA shot 18-28 from the Charity (64%). In addition they were 1-14 from 3 pt. Those are some ugly stats.

Finally, dome odds and ends:

-UTSA was 4-1 ATS in last 5 road games vs a team with a home winning % of greater 60.

-UTSA is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games vs a team with a winning home record

Mustangs-

-0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games vs a team with a road win % of less than. 400

-1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a loss

-3-13 ATS in their last 16 Thurs games

-8-22 ATS in last 30 games overall

Again, I keep going back to the missed free throws. Seemed to be what killed the cat. Wasn't like ref's were serving up home cooking
as UTSA had the opportunity.

Sorry

Not that it matters at this point
But I spent quite a bit of time looking at this group. I saw it getting 1 1/2 to 2. And was all over it. Just saying ha
