exams were completed at Iona. Evans, a 6-2, 170 lb. guard, averaged 17.0 points per game as a senior for LaSalle Institute in Troy, NY. He was the second-leading scorer for the Cadets, helping guide the squad to a 16-7 overall record and the New York State Class AA semifinals. He scored in double-figures in 22 of LaSalle's 23 games, posting a high of 25 points twice last season. After signing a National Letter of Intent during the late signing period in May, he was classified as a non-qualifier with the NCAA initial eligibility clearinghouse. Earlier this year, he won an appeal to restore his first-year eligibility.
