8-2 yesterday dropping the screw job from Ga St and chasing a middle on the total at Mich St. One I like right from the start on Thursday is :

They don't win many but they generally hang around. Richmond doesn't seem to score much, seems like they may have trouble covering a large number like this.

Not wild at all about this card after spending a couple of hours dissecting the numbers. These are all just one unit first half plays.

Cleveland State / Va under 51

Lost in all the hype around Tony Bennett's suffocating defense at Va is the fact that Gary Waters is a defensive minded coach and Cleve State has been pretty solid on that side of the floor. Charlie Lee has been back for a couple of games now so the Vikes should be on the improve. Getting 10 points in a half projected at only 51 total points is too big to ignore. What I really need here are 3 officials that will let 'em play and swallow their whistles.


Hall / S Fla under 63'

I like Orlando Antigua and I think he will enjoy some success at S Fla when he gets his own players, not with this group however. Hopefully he will realize that he can't run with Hall and play some half court ball. Last 3 in the series went way under but with the new coach in play this is admittedly a stab in the dark
