thank god i didnt play anything last night..would have gotten smoked...i noticed over some time that when i have a great night in a sport i often dont do well at all the next day....anyways...
tonight....
1.) CHICAGO...i havent seen this play yet and that makes me even more confident in it...they got off the snide the other night against the sabres and they were stellar at home last year...FLORIDA has not fared well at all playing at chicago...the blackhawks have won 5 in a row vs. florida and were 2-0 last year...luongo has a 3.97 goals against vs chicago...while thibault has an 2.10 goals against vs. florida ...his best vs. any opponent..and has 3 shutouts against florida ...his best vs. any opponent..i realize chicago has had its problems on offense without amonte and fluery...but this goalie angle is worth a shot alone at home...
2.) EDMONTON...the sharks goaltending has been anything but good this year...and SALO has been solid..keeping his team in the game despite thier lackluster offense ....you may be saying the sharks have owned the oilers...but take a look at those gamee...they were all very ..very close games...and Salo played well in them...NABOKOV was the goalie in all the matchups and he played great as well...guess what nabokov isnt there tonight and Salo is...he will keep them in the game as he always plays well against the sharks...but i think we may see edmonton actually have some offense tonight without NABOKOV there to match SALO save for save...
leaning towards DALLAS...and philly/isles under 5.5...look for garth snow to be in net tonight for the isles ..his numbers vs. philly have been very good ...as have chechemanek (or however you spell his name) these two goalies have played very tight low scoring games...
