Where it is real F ing COLD
Arizona +13.5

Line opened up at 15 over 65% on Okie State and the line drops down to a 2 score cover for the home team..

I will take Arizona.. Plus I hate to admit it but I have been following a particular service 10 star plays and I see he is on em too. Add that to the line movement and yes I am biting.... I hope the local keeps it at 14 or above.

Lets hope for a dog to cover finally!!

For starters I don't like either defense, I think Foles for Arizona is going to put up a ton of yards and get a few points. I know stopping Okie St is going to difficult but their QB is a little inexperienced and could be looking ahead to Tulsa an interstate rival :mj07:

Arizona has experienced secondary and maybe that will help. Maybe it is more of a gut..

I didn't realize this but Zona actually out gained Ok St last year... they just didn't protect the ball... I'm seeing 5 new starters on the O-Line :scared

Yep that is the scary part but if they give the QB protection then Zona could win outright.

Yep a ton of turnovers in the bowl game.. Zona's top receiver maybe out for this game though.

They have 5 new starters on the OL, both DE's (playmakers who were drafted) are gone, have turnover at LB as well and their RB's are inexperienced (although Carey is a good addition). On top of all that, Criner being out makes uofa almost impossible for me to bet.

Granted, their secondary should be good and Foles will find WR's, but they're just too much of a wildcard.

Also, uofa was 8th in the Pac-10 last year in turnover margin (-4) so you can't dismiss their turnovers in the Alamo Bowl. That's part of the game and there's no reason to think that trend won't continue tonight. Stoops also isn't the best in-game coach and consistently shoots his team in the foot (look at Alamo Bowl - gave Ok St 7 by going for it on their own 26yd line).

Ok St returns their primary weapons (minus Hunter) but my concern is how their offense looks w/out Holgerson. Most these spread offenses survive OC turnover (see uofa) so it doesn't worry me too much.

You can take this "analysis" w/ a grain of salt since I'm an ASU fan but I also like making money. I just don't see how uofa +14 on the road is a winner. My $.02

If Juron Criner is out for Zona, I think it will be difficult for Zona to match scores w/OK St. Criner is on the same level as Blackmon. The line would suggest that Criner will play since it opened @ 14.5 - now at 14 @ most places. If anyone hears any definitive info on Criner please share.

Criner didn't travel w/ the team and isn't playing -

Criner has been in the news here in AZ since spring ball. There was speculation just two months ago that he wasn't going to play at all this year. There have been various different rumors that have gone around so it's not even worth trying to pinpoint which one could be true.

Hopefully he doesn't have a major illness.

Thanks DevilFan. That sucks- I'm a UofA grad. Good luck against Mizzou. A lot of my buddies are flying out from KC today for the game. Hopefully the PAC 12 will show up

Thanks. Big game for us as I think this sets the tone for our season. Granted, we can bounce back with winnable games vs. IL, USC and Ore St before the Utah and Oregon tilts but DE & Co. have placed a huge emphasis on this game.

I have a lot of college friends coming back to Tempe for the game. It should be a cool atmosphere on national TV w/ the blackout we're doing. The bookstores can't keep the black shirts in stock.
