NCAA Season Record updated: 57-50-1

Akron -16.5 (-117) pinny Loss

The Bulls finally beat someone besides Temple last week in a major upset against Kent st (gave up five turnovers). Buffalo is win less on the road losing by an avg of 28 points.

This will be Tony Paolis' first career road start for the Bulls and will be a much bigger test. The Zips are undefeated at home this season is 3 games. This team has already played 6 on the road and I feel the comfort of being on their home field will be a decisive advantage for tonight's contest. Akron has moved up a notch under Brookhart and I don't see any reason to take the road team this evening.

Still looking at the BIG game....

Louisville @ Rutgers

Louisville @ Rutgers

1st half plays

Rutgers +3.5 Loss
Under 25.5 Loss

Been beating myself up all day on this game and almost said screw it and left it alone. This game could really go either way....

I do know this. The Cardinals score less on the road than at home. They've only played 4 road games. Throw out Temple & Middle Tenn St. Those shouldn't count. They only put up 24 and 28 vs K State and Syracuse. ( two more weak opponents I might add). On the other hand, Rutgers has given up more than a td just once in 4 home games and held Navy & Pitt to 10 point or less on the road.

No question this will be the best offense the Scarlet Nights have faced all year, but they will do whatever possible to keep this close by trying to run it down the throat of the Cardinals and keep that high powered offense off the field.

This game could end up being a high scoring affair, but my guess is it will take a bit of time for each team to get a feel for one another and I expect this to be close in the early going.

Good Luck Gentlemen...

navy game is misleading there stud qb was hurt in the first quarter
at the beg of the week I was all over Ville
yesterday I was seeing that everyone loved Ville and it made me think
ended up taking Rutgers+6
only thing that scares me is the QB
Teel does not pass much and you would think he will have to tonight
lets just hope they are not for picks
I see that fullback Leonard having a big game
at least I hope

GL mully and thanks for all your hard work
love looking at your write ups

I know the Navy game might have been a bit closer. To shut down that high powered rushing attack was very impressive. Teel is a definite question mark, but if that backfield gets it going early, no doubt that defense will keep them in the game. There's always the 2nd half in case I'm way off here..

Almost forgot....thanks for the kind words. Good luck tonight bert.

2nd half play

2nd half play

The way I see it, this game started to change the final half of the 2nd quarter.IF Rutgers can force a 3 and out at the start of this half, we might have a ball game. Would only be down 4 points without the 100 yard kickoff return. Already into my pockets for the 1st half and my backdoor is still sore after the Akron game BS. I will give this value bet a try....

Rutgers -3.5 +210 :scared WIN :mj06:
