so... last night i learned that, while i seem capable of handicapping while drinking vodka, gin is BAD news.
georgia tech (+3.5) 1 unit. wow, looking at georgia tech's home schedule is amazing. they are 2-5 (in conference), but they have not lost a game by more than 2 points. they've lost by 2 3 times and by 1 twice. so i guess it would not be a good idea to take them on the money line tonight. clemson's free throw shooting always keeps the other team in the game.
st joe's (+2) 1 unit. very difficult going against the muskateers, but this game means so much more to st joe's. plus, st joe's has covered 4 straight regular season games against xavier.
wichita st (+1.5) 1 unit. the sycamores just relied so much on their home court this year. in conference games (ATS)... at home they were 7-2, on the road 2-6-1. the shockers are slightly better away from home (4-4-1) than at home (2-6-1). the #9 seed has won 5 straight games over the #8 seed in the mvc tourney.
illinois (+3) 1 unit. so tough to take the illini. they're just bad this year. but look at michigan st on the road... they've lost 4 straight. plus, they are locked into the #4 seed for the big ten tourney.

Bradley (+ looks like it'll be around 3) 3 units. i won't rehash too much of my pro-bradley praise. they are simply a much, much better team with ruffin, and he's playing. i wouldn't be surprised to see them win this tournament.
