A general question regarding money line bets...

If you are getting points, how large should a ML bet be in comparison to the side bet? I have Maryland +9 and want to do a ML bet, but I don't want to win the side and lose the ML and break even. Any opinions?

Play the ML for half your unit. At worst if you like them + points you can still get half of a unit.
