Day game in New York following a night loss. Some favor the home team in this type of match up. I am having a little trouble seeing beyond the lowest price of the decade for the best pitcher in baseball against Mussina--admittedly a favorite of mine in previous years--whose last two relevant games were an 8-3 (6R, 4ER, 6H 4IPs) loss to Boston 4 weeks ago and an 8-3 loss (4R 8H 6IPs) to Oakland last Thursday. Red Sox are slumping and Pedro stops the slide here to avenge a recent string of well-pitched no-decisions vs the Yankees.

True Blue Brew Crew -120 over Cards. One Unit
This day game after a night win is worth the price with hot Brewer bats, a great record in their new palace (18-7)--hot hitting, excellent defense (worth a run/game, IMHO) and SL is cooling down after their hot early May burst.
This is Mathews' second career start and his beginner's luck will run out against the TBBC's bats.
Sheets has gotten so little run support that his embarrassed teammates will find a way to get him five or six today and that should be enough. The under is very tempting here but I will stay with the side only.
