Got a Spock Under special here, I think......

I have no idea why we're getting +114 on an Under here. Spock has to be drooling all over this line. NYI PK 27/29, Mont PK 23/27. Mont allowed 1 goal in each of 4 home games. H2H totals 5, 2, 11, 4, 3, 4, 4, 9. After getting biatch-slapped by Wash in the season opener, NYI has allowed 5 goals in 4 games, and 23 SOGs/game. Mont avgs 21 SOGs/game.

Will post the rest of the card tomorrow. But I think this line will drop by the morning, so I'm grabbing it now.

Laughs looked good last nite to me. Besides the 1st 10min of the game, they outplayed Dallas all over the ice, and deserved that hard-fought win. I'm going against the grain and backing a team in a 3/4, 4/6 spot. Here's why......

Last yr, Toronto in B2B games 9-6-1, B2B OTR 4-2-1, B2B after a W 4-3, B2B OTR AFTER a W 3-1

The yr before, Tor in B2B 8-2-3, B2B OTR 3-2, B2B after a W 3-0, B2B OTR AFTER a W 2-0

That's 5-1 in game 2 of B2B OTR AFTER a W L2Y.

Assuming Burke's in goal, he's 0-5 L5 vs Toronto, giving up 6, 3, 3, 9, 4 goals. Not as significant, though, since he hasn't faced them since 2001. Belfour a respectable 2-2-2 L6 vs Phx. Tellquist is slated to start tonite, but not confirmed. Tellquist is fighting for a back-up job with Kidd, so he'll be trying to give his best anyways. Belfour has started a few B2B OTR games, so it's not out of the question that he would start, either, which would be a nice bonus.

Forgot to mention LY Phx after rest of 3 days or more......1-5-1. Toronto L2Y in 3/4 spots OTR?? 4-4-1. Toronto L2Y in 3/4 spots OTR that also their 4th in 6 nites?? 2-0

Considering the talent Phx has, it just doesn't justify -160 price, IMHO. I could be totally wrong and way off. But considering right now we're getting +147, and if history dictates, we have way above 50% chance that we'd win this game, I think the hidden value is on the Leafs.

Plenty of discussions already in the forum. Simply going with the hot team here and ignoring the let-down factor. Raycroft has been outstanding, and Storr is just off of cross-country travel to and from LA for the birth of his newborn.

Kings -1-110 x1 (1.1/1.0)
Sort of a hedge with my Buff Oct Point Total. If LA wins by 1, no harm done. If Buff wins, I lose the bet, but win the Oct Point prop. If the game ends in a tie. I lose the bet at a reduced juice from the -.5, but Buff would only need 1 pt out of the next 4 games for me to win the prop bet.

I hate to play the kings as such a big fav, but you got a good line on them. kings play down to worse teams sometimes.:shrug:

What do you think about Kings Over 5?

Kings are scoring lots of goals, and have tendency to play down to their competition. I can see them scoring at least 2 tonight and letting in at least 1-2 to an inferior team.
