Toronto's Justin Miller, who will likely start the season with Triple-A Syracuse, will take the mound for Toronto. The start comes on Cory Lidle's throwing day, but he will throw a minor league game instead. Lidle is slated to start against the Yankees at SkyDome in the second game of the season, so the Jays don't want the Yanks to see his stuff so close to that date.

Mike Thurman, who spent most of 2002 with the Yankees and was signed to a minor-league contract last week, will start for the Yankees. His opponent will be Toronto's Justin Miller, starting in place of Cory Lidle, who will face the Yankees next week
