well, i said i was going to keep playing the bills after they got rid of jauron, so...

buffalo (+3.5) 1 unit. treading lightly, because this seems almost too easy. i kept asking myself 'is this a legitmate line?' at first, it seemed a bit high... a bad jets team laying a fg on the road against a team that, well, just fired dick jauron. but, factoring 3 points for home field advantage, there should be a 6-point swing from the first matchup (jets were laying 9). and there is. but i think the bills are slightly improved from that game and people must finally realize the jets are bad. so why is the line exactly 6 points off from last time? it should be skewed a little more towards buffalo, right? well, duh, it's not a true home game for the bills. alright, for the 3 guys who are still reading, i'm sorry to put you through my ramblings. i just needed to lay it out. after all that, i think it's a legitimate line, and the jets have no business laying 3 points on the road to anyone.

also, buffalo has covered 5 of the last 6 games against the jets. and the dog has covered 8 straight in this matchup.

under (37.5) 1 unit. two fairly anemic offenses. both defenses have been good against the pass, so most yards will have to come on the ground tonight. biggest concern is a short field set up by turnovers. seems like every time i play an under, there is at least one non-offensive touchdown.

:mj07: :mj07: i'm sure it wasn't for lack of effort, bender. i still couldn't tell you the bills' new head coach's name, but i can guarantee you the bills are better off. i'm a fan of the ham sandwich.
