A lot of factors in this game. Kansas got beat up 9-2 again by Toronto .. Toronto already taken 2-1 lead in the series and look for them to close out the series tomorrow.
The first game in which Kansas beat Toronto 4-1 .. 2 of the runs were if i remember lucky runs .. Kansas offence just not there .. and they got swept by White Sox .. Toronto offence pickin up again .. Mentality of both the teams is different ..
Also its past the trade date .. some people on the Toronto team know that they are in the team for the year till the season is over and will play much better not havin the load on their mind of not knowin whats gonna happen to them next.
Halladay is perfect on the road so far going 7-0.
His team in these road starts is 8-4
He has an ERA of 3.49 and overall ERA of 2.79
Other than the inning in which he gave 4 runs to Minny he was solid as ever.
Hernandez has started twice and his team is 2-0 in these starts and he has an ERA of 3.75
In 12 innings of work he has given up 14 hits and 5 runs overall with no home runs.
Halladay is 2-0 in 3 starts against Kansas City with an ERA of 1.83 and his team is 3-0 in his 3 starts.
Hernandez has no starts against Toronto.
I give a huge edge here to the Toronto offence. Kansas offence not present at all and there is no way they can hit Halladay. (well stranger things have happened but I go by the records and stats and mentalities of the players that I see). Halladay is very strong mentally and that is very important.
His opponent may get rattled. Toronto has confidence back and I think they win this one.
