chi/detroit under (47) 2 units. funny story... a friend, who's a terrible gambler, told me before the season that he was going to play Detroit over the total in every game this year. I told him that was really stupid. I haven't seen him in a while, but I hope he listened to me. the over is 2-9 in Detroit games. one of those overs was the first game against the lowly giants and the other was against new Orleans, when it took 17 points in the last 5 1/2 minutes to go over by half a point. let's call the final... 17-6 Detroit.
dallas (-3) 1 unit. hard to trust dallas as chalk, but I'm going to keep betting against sanchez.

san fran (-1) 3 units. looks like i'll be in the minority on this play. the niners haven't played well the last few weeks, but you know they've had this game circled since the schedule came out. the seahawks have only played 3 good games this year, and all were at home. here's what they've done on the road:
lost at san diego
won at Washington (wow!)
lost at st. Louis
won at Carolina on a last-minute td
lost at kc
so... yeah. their two road wins were at Washington and Carolina. I think san fran will put up a little better effort than either of those teams.
