hello, fellow madjackers. i hope everyone had a lovely offseason. the saratoga meet is winding down, and football is starting. and it's still friggin' in the mid-to-upper 80s and humid here in upstate ny. ugh.
unc (ML) 2 units to win 2. looks like i'm not the only one on unc. but i don't see much reason to expect (the other) usc's defense to be any better and unc is going to light up the scoreboard again.
utah (-5) 1 unit. michigan doesn't exactly get to ease into the new season under coach harbaugh. utah's weakness on defense is expected to be in the secondary. i don't think a team that only decided on a starting qb a few days ago is going to be able to exploit that weakness. the utes will be fired up to beat michigan in back-to-back years.
um/utah under (45.5) 2 units. it's hard to see either team doing much scoring tonight. i'm looking forward to some exciting punting action.
