Yeah call me crazy here but I'm a sucker and I will bite... For the second consecutive season the Panthers return 4 starters. This is the team that went 26-6 last season and 14-2 in league play. This team is the same team that went to the sweet 16 a season ago and there is nothing to let me think that they won't repeat that feat this season. The Panters return over 65% of the teams scoring and about 80% of the rebounding and with another year of experience under the belt, I would be crazy to think they will not be as good as a year ago. Now having said that, the Panthers have struggle MIGHTILY coming out of the gate this season as they have shot very poorly fronm the field, Ft line, have played very weak defensively and have committed a lot of turnovers in the early going under new HC Rob Jeter. So why in the world would I be on a team that is struggling playing a team that is an INCREDIBLE 49-1 in its last 50 home games?...Well the reason its simple, The line up is loaded with experience, scoring and rebounding. JUCO transfer Kevin massiah has started to play better and now i really like the top 7-8 guys ion this squad. This is a BIG rivarly and WM has lost all 8 games SU vs wisky and by a wide margin and if there is a year that wisky is not a great team....well this is the year......

Wisconsin even though is 49-1 in last 50 home games with the only loss to the Illini last season only return 1 starter, F/G Alando Tucker who avg. 15.2 ppg 6.1rpg. Tucker is a stud but after tucker is all for grabs.....This team is young and ....well young. G Kammron Taylor is a solid player but lacks playmaking abilities. In the frontcourt they are very green with Brian busch probably supplying the most potential out of all of them. Wisky will be tested tonight on a game that IMO will be the coming out party for the PANTERS....... I think this line is way over inflated due to the streak and Wisky's last 4 years but IMO this team is not even close to those of the past.......I look for WM to play a very hard game with this one coming down to the wire.....I don't know if the panthers will have enough to win in this environment but I will not be surprise to see an upset in Badgerland.......

Another game that I will bite on.....No idea why this line is what it is. I had SWMS by 4 but as soon as the line came out I started digging and in retrospective i'm glad i did.The razorbacks return 4 starters from a team that went 18-12 last season. many people are expecting a better performance this season as HC Stan Heath tries to get the Razorbacks back to the days of Nolan richardson. Ronnie brewer is a STUD avg. 16.2 ppg 3.4 apg last season this guard will be even better this season. G Eric ferguson is another standout avg. 8.8 ppg 4.3apg making this tandem one of the best backcourts in the SEC. In the frontcourt the Backs are loaded with F Jonathon Modica is another versatile player who can score in bunches and F Charles Thomas is another compliment and inside force everytime he touches the ball......the backs are primed for a great season and will surprise many teams in the SEC.....Finally, its home court advantage as we all know Arkansas is one of the toughest gym's to play in the country and witha streaming hot SWMS team coming to town i expect this factor to be big down the stretch.......

SWMS returns 3 starters from a season ago but none of them avg. DD in scoring, but they do return 8 out of the top 10 players from a season ago. This team has played great so far this aseason as fade4six has already explained in my other thread. They are 6-0 this season and looking to get a BIG win tonight. They are better in ppg, fg%, ft %, rebounding and have a deeper squad but to me it comes down to this.....They are an inferior conference and inferior in talent. I think arkansas defense will show up big tonight and will contain this HOT SWMS team. I expect this game to be a hard faught battle with the better athletes pulling away in the second half...I expect SWMS to play a great 1st half but not to half enough in the 2nd half to pull an upset.......

Arkanas 68 SWMS 61

I'm not sure which way to go on this game. Jeter has been around BO since his playing days at UW-Platteville, so very familiar with the system. Yes Bucky is young and inexperienced, but still expect them to be in the mix for BIG 10 title, should be top 3-4 for sure. This game isn't really a big rivalry yet, but if UW-M keeps up with seasons like last year it will become one soon.GL in your play
