*-Best Bet on the board tonight in my humble opinion. The Tar Heels know that their only chance in this game is too play ball control & keep the South Carolina Offense on the sideline as much as possible. North Carolina can not get into a Shoot-Out w/ the Gamecocks if they have any hopes of pulling the early season upset. Tar Heels should be a little better defensively this year & it usually takes a game or too before a teams offense gets their timing down. With North Carolina keeping it close too the vest on offense I think the Gamecock's defense will hold the Tar Heels too less than 3 scores. That said, I believe South Carolina will struggle offensively in the first game & hopefully score less than 4 TD's. Also have too consider how much of the Gamecock's total offensive package we will see tonight with their BIG game coming up next week against the Dawgs. My final score prediction:
