man, i either have too much time on my hands or i work too quickly giving me time to do this everyday. i'm hoping to have another day today like i did yesterday and hoping those that followed me through the wonderful week one didn't jump off after a mediocre second week.

gonna play the red sox and the braves tonight, as well... will post after the 1pm game finishes. go tigers!

what is everyone's thoughts on the mariners/twins tonight? can hernandez three-peat?

IMO YES ... he can ... however, I would lay the run line and take him -1.5. Silva has been decent so far and he is not a terrible pitcher but I am not a fan of his and he is due to get hit. That being said, the Mariners are a poor to average offensive team but I think Hernandez could easily shut them down especially since both Hunter and Punto are questionable tonight.

So far, I am on da Reds, D'Backs, Mariners (-1.5 runs) and the Tigers (-1.5 runs). Unfortunately, I just haven't had time to keep up with posting.

Also considering the Chisox/Rangers over.

Good Luck!

yeah, seattle is sluggish offensively. but they have won games.

what's your take on the d'backs/padres besides just the pick? the padres played that long game with the cubbies yesterday, hit well but couldn't get runners around.

are the d'backs just that good? that much talent keeps winning games.

My take on the D'Backs is that I think they are just as good if not better than the Padres offensively. Quenton is back and as far as I know, the lineup is healthy. My main reason for backing them here is that Brandon Webb is a much better pitcher than David Wells at this point in their careers. Webb is off to a slow start but he has been consistently very good the past 2 years while Wells has quite a few games where he gets hammered. I think today will be one of them plus it never hurts that the Pads are coming off that long tough game yesterday. I see about 6-3, 7-4 type of game in which the D'Backs come out on top.
