depends on the margin and how hes playing

obviously with a huge lead he is the odds on winner

phil dropped to 6 back

neither bjorn or DiSastrco should be a threat

Tiger hasnt been exactly invincible lately and his game is nowhere near where it used to be

DEEP DOWN INSIDE PHIL THINKS HE IS AS GOOD AS TIGER,BUT TIGER IS NOT READY TO HAND THE REINS OVER TO ANYONE JUST YET.
PRICELESS MOMENT FOR ME IS WHEN PHIL HANDS THAT GREEN JACKET OVER TO TIGER. ;)

Any guy who can birdie 7 straight holes at Augusta is definitely sitting at the hot table. I just read where he tied Pate's Masters record from '99. Pate birdied the same seven holes, 7 through 13.

tiger got hot, but his swing is nowhere near as consistent as it once was

got a few lucky breaks on the back nine with some bad swings or it would be closer

with his great putting and short game, i doubt anyone can catch him now as 70 is about as high as he should go

lol lot of golf knowledge running rampant in this thread

"the most unbelievable bad luck" ***not quite

"shut up the naysayers" ***who, the guys who say that he should go back to his old swing coach?....uhh....no this will not shut them up

tiger whines and complains more than anyone...this is partly why he is so good....you blame circumstance and it will be hard to shake your confidence

but of course the tiger-pandering/worshiping media looks at these through his eyes too....thus any bad break he gets and the shouldda wouldda couldda comes out...any golfer knows this is the last thing you want to hear but regardless hear after your round from joe hack in the 19th hole

people on tour dislike tour exactly because of this

All I'm saying is, the luck evened out.

It's not Tiger-pandering if you win 9 majors, 44 tour events and tens of miilions of $ and your ARE NOT EVEN 30 YEARS OLD!!!

That's a legend, whether you like it or not.

You know what Freeze, Kosar has you pegged.

Tiger is the best at what he does and he is gonna run away from the field by the turn today. Just because you don't like him or your a racist or whatever doesn't change the facts.

lmao whatever

that swing is as shaky as anything out there right now

Tiger is the best putter and the toughest mentally on tour

I am a racist because I say that he should never have dropped Butch? WTF? Nothing is more aggravating than someone pulling out the race card.

No where did I say he was "overrated" or did I "change the facts" or whatever nonsense you come up with.

You are an idiot and know nothing about the game.

If anyone else was hitting it like Tiger did today, they shoot in the upper 70's .

Does that make his win less impressive? Heck no, I was more impressed by his win today than I ever have been.

The fact remains that his swing is crap and he needs to swallow a little bit of crow and go back to Butch or find some other reputable swing coach. He is flying all over the place with inconsistent tempo to go with it.

I also pointed out about how much Tiger whines and complains at any lipped putt or tough break. He does this so routinely and the announcers play it up. They dont do it for anyone else. That act is old and tiring. Tiger also shouldda been given a 2 stroke penalty on Thursday which he never did receive for some unknown reason. So in essence, that 74 shouldda been a 76.

Just so I know we are on the same page, we're talking about the swing that just won the Masters and is now ranked #1 in the world.

Boy, your tough to impress, or stupid as a rock. I'll ask Kosar which it is.

you think that swing won him the masters? lmao

shows how much you know about golf

i am stupid? listen little kid, i have played with Tiger, Hank Kuehne, and a few other guys you have probably have never heard of. I think I know what I am talkign about.

That swing melted down when the heat was turned up. As it has for the last few years.

David Duval has gone out and made birdies in similar fashion to what Tiger did. Does that make him good right now?

Tiger won because he is the mentally toughest player with no one even close and because his short game and putting are also superior to anyone else's. Add that to the fact that Augusta National is groomed for big hitters especially with the playing conditions the way they were.

You know little to nothign about what golf is like at the highest level or for that matter probably any level. So go back to your little hole and get daddy Kosar to sing you to sleep.

Playing with Hank Kuehne is no big deal...any shlub playing on the buy.com tour can do it since he finds it impossible to keep his tour card.

So, Woods swing broke down did it? Just wondering, did you see the Three-wood he hit at the playoff hole?

Just asking.

The mark of a champion is someone who gets the job done when the key moments come. Woods is a rare breed of sportsman, like Jordan, Ali and Joe Montana.
