TIGERS/BLUE JAYS Over 10 ?115 - Maroth was a 20-game loser last season, with a horrible road ERA of 6.45. He now gets to face a potent Toronto lineup that is due for an explosion after getting shut out yesterday. The Blue Jays also lit up Maroth in his 3 starts against them last season, as he posted a whopping 9.77 ERA with a terrible 1.91 ratio in 15.2 innings. Batista is a nice addition to the Toronto pitching staff, but he is facing a much-improved Detroit lineup here. The Tigers put up a 7-spot vs. the reining Cy Young winner Roy Halladay yesterday, and the addition of Pudge Rodriguez gives their lineup instant credibility. Given that the Blue Jays may approach this total by themselves, I think that the Tigers will score more than enough runs to help push this game Over.
