On the course!
I was watching that silly show tonight, and at the begining, Miami was playing against a guy.

She got some bad news, and mucked her hand at the end. The board showed:

4d,7d,10d,Jd,4c

The guy had Ad, for the top flush.

They looked at the gals cards after she left, and she had pocket jacks, for a full house.

The guys says, "What do you know......she had the nuts."

I believe the "nuts" would be the 8d,9d for a straight flush.

How did these guys make that mistake?

I noticed that too and thought the same thing. I was like, well he would have won - and then they said "she had the nuts" :bsflag

Like the show, but that was a silly mistake.

Actually, he wouldn't have won. He had an ace high flush, but a full house beats that. The full house would not beat a straight flush, though, and that was still a possibility.

I liked the show "Lucky" much more. It was silly and unrealistic, but at least it was funny. I thought it was kicking ass too, but it never came back for a 2nd season. Anybody know what happened to it?

Can't stomach Tilt.

Orlando
A lot of BS on there, but I still kinda dig the show anyway.......I just moved back to Orlando after working for Harrah's for about a year and half. There is no way that a floor boss is going to vouch for a guy that he doesn't know for 100 large for whatever little "tip" he is getting. If the guy got 10%, how much could have have tipped the guy. Then when he did tip the guy, he handed it to him in the "old money in the palm handshake". There are cameras everywhere watching everything, he's not gonna take that chance even if he did agree to go along with the deal. Same with the old man being tossed over the rail.......It's funny how "The Matador" has every camera angle he wants in his suite, yet there is no video of a guy being tossed over a rail from a main walkway. Also when "The Matador" gave the guy in slots his watch back and told him he earned his way back into the poker room. C'mon.
