kickserv--I met a couple from Toronto on my honeymoon last week. They said that you just got Krispy Kremes up there and there are crazy waiting lines. People are getting there early and then going outside and selling donuts black market style. Is any of this true?

I'm in a danger zone. I have a Krispy Kreme basically out my back door!kurby

I think the best thing about Tim Hortons is their coffee and the fruit sensations muffins.

I have had krispt kreme donouts and I think they are great the first time but will take a Tim Hortons stuff over theirs in the long run, less lineup and not as sugary
I also want to know why BTJ has to stick his nose in every conversation especially if it has nothing to do with him. He has made his point clear on how he feels about Canada so he could have nothing possible to say about a Canadian product so stop ruining a good post with something you know nothing about.

Sorry to vent in your post but I cant believe what he said about Canada and am getting sick of seeing him in everyones post, I am sure he will give his 2 cents on this but I dont care anymore.

BTW enjoy your muffin I think they are limited time only

I really am getting screwed here in Southeastern PA ... all we have in Dunkin Donuts and they are all run by f**kin' towel heads.

We have no Krispy Kreme which I always hear about and I've never even heard of Tim Hortons.

PS. As for BTJ ... just ignore his posts or be entertained by them like I am. I think he is funny as hell most of the time and no one takes him seriously anyway.

;)

Krispy Kremes are donuts for girls. Lightweights. Kind of like the Barry Manilow of the donuts world.

I can't compare any of our donuts to TH because I have never experienced the orgasmic event that it must be. BUT I will tell you not to underestimate Krispy Kremes ability to move in. They have been a monster when it comes to expansion, and I don't see any competitor standing in their way. KK may not shut TH down, but they will steal some business from them. Just my two cents.

I never thought I would hear someone refer to Krispy Kreme donuts as "lightweight"!:p

KK is way overrated in my opinion. It is likely assembly line donuts. They are small and full of sugar. Never had TH, but I don't think it would be hard to beat KK.
