ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) ? Orlando Magic guard Tracy McGrady will play against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night, four days after being wheeled off the court on a stretcher with back spasms.
The spasms occurred during Friday night's loss to Charlotte. In the second quarter, McGrady landed awkwardly after being sandwiched by the Hornets' George Lynch and Robert Traylor on a drive to the hoop.
``I thought I was gone for the season,'' said McGrady, averaging 25.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists, on Tuesday.
He was hospitalized overnight, and missed the Magic's loss in Milwaukee on Sunday. Earlier this season, McGrady sat out three straight games with a lower back strain.
The Magic also had guard Troy Hudson available against Chicago. Hudson, averaging 10.8 points per game, bruised his back after a spill against the Bucks on Sunday.
``T-Mac's going to be sore for a while and so is Troy, but everyone's sore now,'' Orlando coach Doc Rivers said.
Orlando also may regain the services of forward Mike Miller by the end of the week. Miller has been sidelined since March 8, when he sprained his left ankle.
