Grats on a nice doggy win.

My question is, what were your reasons for taking Nashville (especially on ML) against the the #1 team in NHL right now?

I don't play alot of heavy faves but I also don't play many big dogs. Just trying to learn something here.

look at nashville's stellar record at home in their last 13 games and that was a clue...
looks like nashville's gonna be tough to beat at home this year...again.

I played Nash +.5 instead of ML..

The reasons I took the wager after a great deal of thought were thus: 1) their excellent home form, 2) that they had outshot their opponents a lot in recent matches while the wings, while on a winning streak, hadn't been as impressive in that respect, and 3) the excellent line (+135) getting half a puck on a good home side.

Hope this helps a little mate

I played Nashville at +170 for two units in the POD contest. My methods of picking games are a ittle different than most. I monitor lines at a lot of books and try to determine what the smart money is doing. Within 30 minutes of the lines opening a lot of smart money came in on Nashville. Line dropped by 15 cents from +185 down to +170. I just try to follow the smart money.

By the way, we were lucky as hell.
