Just wanted to thank you for the idea of parlaying PIT and the under last night. Since I had coat tailed fletcher I had 6 units working on ARI parlays and no straight action. I put one unit on PIT and Under at +6.1 units which would have covered the loss of the parlays if your senerio had taken place.

Granted, I could have wiped out if the game had gone PIT and over, but what you said made a lot of sense . . . thus I held on to all but one unit of the original target profit.

I know there was some disagreement to your idea, but I liked it and wanted to say "Thanks" for helping me see outside the box.

Sorry I didn't even notice your post last time I checked (which was about an hour ago)... I'm so used to see my name in the baseball forum - LOL

Be careful with this type of bet though - it can be pretty addictive

and if you blindfully parlay the side and the total of every game you'll end up in a hole even deeper. You have some teams to spot... preferably the teams that usually don't produce a lot of runs. It's easier to spot a good Dog/Under "valuable" parlay than a Fav/Over. The Wild and Blue Jackets were perfect examples in the NHL last year. Pittsburgh is a good example in baseball this year.

In bases, just remember that it's *usually* (last night was an exception) not a good idea to parlay the Road team (no matter if it's a favorite or a dog) with the Under - same thing for the Home team with the Over, the reason being the "famous" bottom of the 9th.

BTW Keep up the good work NCU, I read many of your posts and always find them interesting.
