Remember, you get what you pay for!!! :nono:

The reason I like the Under is that Phoenix is coming into this game without Stepenova, Veal, Tracy Reid or Barnes. Brandy Reed is back but she hasn't been practicing much because of a bad ankle.

Phoenix knows they're in trouble so they've got to play a tough defensive game and try to keep Swoopes from single-handedly outscoring them.

But aside from Swoopes, Houston doesn't have a lot of scorers. In her first game of the year last Monday vs LA, Swoopes had 15 points, 6 assists, 6 boards and 2 steals while her teammates combined to go 13-38 (34%) from the field. The HOU bench was held to zero points.

Last year these two teams met once with Phoenix winning 56-38.

That's a total of 96 points.

I expect a similar final score tonight except this time HOU will come out on top.

I appreciate the info. I am starting to play ladies' hoops so I have some B-ball during the summer. I, myself doesn't know squat (yet) about the teams so I just kind of base my picks on others. With that said adding:

4 Teams Parlay 20/200

NBA Mercury (Phoenix) PS +15? -110

NBA Comets (Houston) UN 129? -110

NBA Liberty (New York) PS -3? -110

NBA Fire (Portland) UN 131? -110

Well you've got the names of the teams right!!!

As I posted to MM, FWIW I like the Over in the Liberty/Fire game: the Liberty can score and while Portland's Stiles is hurting, they've got Ukari Figgs this year who can shoot the 3 (54-117 or 46% last season).

Last year these teams met once, in Portland the Fire won 86-68.

I like the Liberty's chances here but I'd like the Side a lot better if it were 2.5 not 3.5.

Thanks for the props but I don't really know that much about WNBA, I just follow the Liberty since they're here in NY. Remember it's early in the season and anything can happen.

Really think it's a money-making situation though as the linesmakers are probably paying more attention to MLB and NBA.

I see SIA took the PHX/HOU Total off the board, that's a good sign for us Under players. I'm sure they were getting too much action on that side as they opened the line at 130.5 and it was down to 129. FWIW I really like that play. I'll be surprised if PHX breaks 50.
