I actually took the time to handicap these games pretty hard,so I feel I am capable of starting a thread that actually helps a bit......
My biggest play today is NORTH CAROLINA -3.5
Reasoning: First, it seems I am against the public, which is always my first objective. Secondly, I feel this is not a good matchup for G-Town. G-Town prides itself on high percentage shots and when they miss those shots, they are great on getting offensive boards, thus, makes them one of the most efficient offenses in America.
North Carolina has a lot of long, lean players, that should be able to crash the defensive boards and limit the chances of G-Town. Not only that, but to the shock of many people, North Carolina is one of the finest defensive teams in America as well.....so hopefully, we will see that even GTowns first chance shots will not be at as high of a percentage that they are accustomed to.
G-Town also has a high percentage of turnovers on the offensive end.....they move the ball around alot and in 30-35 seconds you are bound to turn it over a bit....NC really takes advantage of this and is how they are really successful......you turn it over and NC turns it into transition points.
This one will likely be close, but I see too many advantages for NC here for GTown to come away with the win.
North Carolina 73-67.
