The guy is a jackass. He continually throws his 83 mph fastball down the middle and hopes the hitter hits it at someone. What kind of spell do the Royals have on the Tigers?:shrug:

Update: Jones has five saves and hasn't allowed a run in his past nine outings.
Recommendation: Jones went through a rough stretch in late June but has managed to get back on track. Overall, he's 1-4 with 26 saves, a 4.69 ERA and a 22:16 K:BB ratio in 40.1 innings. The K:BB ratio indicates just how risky a pitcher Jones is...but manager Jim Leyland has confidence in him so he'll continue to close out games despite lackluster stuff.
