Hey guys,
I'll post my plays all year and I'll try to discuss with the rest of you why I like particular games and so forth and become a real solid contributor to this board.

Here are my selections for Week One:

Eastern Michigan -6 vs. Buffalo
Although their defense isn't great, it is experienced and I don't see Buffalo scoring enough points to keep this game close.

Louisville -8 vs. Kentucky
They say throw out all the paperwork on rivalry games but I feel that sometimes the rivalry makes a line too small in some cases. I think Louisville has way too much firepower and wins this game by at least two touchdowns.

Memphis +3.5 at Ole Miss
I think Memphis is poised for a big season and I expect Ole Miss to have some early-season struggles as they try to find an offensive leader.

Notre Dame -4 at BYU
The Irish aren't dumb enough to look ahead to Michigan when they have to go to Provo. I don't expect a lopsided victory, but I think the Irish will prevail by more than four points.

Troy State +14.5 at Marshall
Troy State has a lot of players coming back and they are really stoked for this game because for some reason it counts as a conference game for them. I think they will play very very well and make Marshall pull out all the stops to come out with a win.

Please add any insight or comments. I look forward to the year.

Good luck to everyone!

Todd

First week of the season it is hard to lay off some games.

I'm going to add:

Cincinnati +15 at Ohio State
Don't see them winning outright, but Ohio State is very inexperienced on both sides of the ball. I have never been high on Lydell Ross and it will be hard for Zwick to fight off the butterflies.

Syracuse +12 at Purdue
I think Reyes and Rhodes can dominate the time of possession and keep this game close.

Fresno State +3.5 at Washington
This game has been discussed a lot on this board and I have been swayed to the Bulldogs. I like their record against the Pac-10 and I like their chances of winning their conference this year.
