Looking at these plays.Will explain them later
North Texas -3 over Baylor
Last week won big with Colorado over my alma mater.And even though NT went out in front 14-7 in the 1st qrt I was never worried.It was "in the bag" from the get-go.Colorado scored the next 38 pts.I know there were a few disidents out there but have faith..
Want to thank everyone that reponds to my posts.I do appreciate it.I don't get to answer all of you.I'm looking at these games...

Toledo -8 over Temple
Virginia -25 over Cuse
North Texas -3 over Baylor
Buffalo +13 over Ohio
New Mex -7 over NMex St.
ASU -7.5 over Oregon St
ND -10 over Wash
BC +1 over Wake.
Really like Toledo a lot. I got my butt handed to me with Toledo already with Minny and kansas blowouts. Not this week Rockets blow away Temple.NT's Cobb was out.in comes frosh Jamario Thomas who gains over 246 yds for the mean green. Look out Bears in Waco.. Buffalo getting 13 pts is a gift.I think they can possibly win outright.It's kinda sad when 2 of you top picks are 0-3.[ NT-Buffalo]
Army defense is pretty bad.Ross has done a decent job with offense and kicking game.But Uconn is coming off a BC loss and the Huskies are mad.The line is -22.5. Tough call.Orluvsky could throw for 500 yds vs the Black Nites. Have to still break down this game...

played conn. when it first came out, but then read that army is in a big east sandwhich of bc & pitt.

what do you think of that angle of not playing conn.?

Taoist..NT off. really moved the ball vs Colorado.Besides Thomas gaining 240 yds,Hall had a good game.NT's defense is pretty bad esp with 3 freshman linebackers.

Ar..UConn is a tough play.Although I had the line at -25 and its -22.5.Lyr Huskies had over 150 yds on the ground and over 300 in the air in a 48-21 win. Orlovsky had 5 TD passes for over 70% completion rate.He had so much time to pass.Armys pass rush hasn't really improved.Conn OL will dominate.I see almost the same score.And that game was at Army.
If you look what Conn did at home lyr,beat Lehigh by 17,Akron by 1,Western Mich 14 and Rutgers by 7.Granted the above except for Lehigh are a little better then Army but there not blowing anyone away.Spent a lot of time on this game but might have to pass or a small,small lean on Army and pray.

I just re-read my 1st post.I was sarcastic when I was saying.."the game was in the bag..I wasn't worried.." I almost had a heart attack when I went over to the computer and saw North Texas had scored 14 pts and was leading 14-7.Thank the lord Colorado got their act together and won and covered.Without Cobbs their offense comes to a halt.But this freshman came up and had a career nite.And he is the real deal.A big time recruit.NT offense is back on track.It's the NT defense thats the problem.

I made some of these plays on monday and tues lines.Lost a few halves and pts though.Thought I would get better lines but it backfired.

Toledo -8[now at -7.5] over Temple ******[best bet]
Toledo has been on the road getting beat pretty bad by Kansas and Minny.Gave up 63 pts and in each game.Then gave up another 32 to EMU. Defense is pretty bad.There pretty young and everyones has taken advantage of them.
But there coming home to the Glass Bowl where they are 25-1 SU and 9-1 ats the past 2 yrs.
Gradkowski is a good Qb with over 35 td's and just under 4,000 yds.They have an explosive offense that should put some pts on the bd today.
Temple's defense will have a hard time trying to contain Grad and co. Temples defense ranks 95th and they give up over 440 yds a game.Temples Qb Washington can pas and run but does not have enough around him to keep pace with the Rockets.Temples offense will score but not enough. I see a 44-24 score.

Virginia -25 over Cuse [now-26 or -26.5] *****
Can't say enough about Vir.Ranked in top 10 in offense,defense,etc,etcThis team is loaded on both sides of the ball.They have scored 44,56 and 51 pts.OL is excellant.Good qb, great RB in Lundy,Punter,TE,etc..They have rushed for 16 td's already.Offense is great.but defense is better.Best 3 combo of linebackers in the nation.All 3 nominated for Butkus award.Top DE in Canty...I could go on and on.
Cuse is in big trouble.They have no qb's.Frosh Fields has been benched.Soph Patterson replaces him.They can't run option because Cuses OL is not made up like that.Their running game has gone south.Reyes their star who had over 1300 yds lyr has 200 yds in 3 games.He did get 100 in the Ciny win last week.But if they can't run they sure can't pass.
Cuse will have a big problem moving the ball today.It's at Vir on grass.Not indoors on turf.On the road they got beat by Purdue 51-0.Cuse defense will be on the field all day.But maybe not.Vir has scored 6 times on big plays.Cuse offense turns the ball over a lot.Stop Reyes and this is a blowout.And the Cavs will stop him.

North Texas -3 over Baylor [-3.5] ***
NT got blown away by Colorado last week.But they did get there offense going.Frosh Thomas broke a few NT records rushing for 247 yds replacing Cobbs.
NT got its running game going therefore qb Hall was effective in passing.Still overmatched by Col they did lead 14-7 in the 1st qrt.NT defense is the problem.They rank at the bottom in the nation but those numbers include the Texas blowout.
Baylor got beat bad by UAB 56-14 and struggled with Texas St 24-17.They pulled the game out with a fumble recovery.
NT beat BU 52-14 lyr.Of course that was with a great defense.But NT can handle BU.BU's Qb king has 5 ints and 2 fumbles.Their offense is avg therefore NT's weak defense should keep it close.NT with superstar Thomas should be able to move the ball.
This game is big for NT.As a graduate of NT we always feel we are 2nd cousins to schools like Baylor,Smoo,TCU,etc.They get the press,etc.Many of those schools duck us because there in a no win situation.
NT is up for Baylor.They are a B-12 school in name only.
And on Wed in denton guess who came to practice.Mean Joe Greene.I'm sure his presence alone got the kids "up'.

Louisville -7 over North car ***
Cards are loaded.This high powered offense should have no problems with the heels.NC is 2-11 SU at home.Terrible ats record too.

Boston Col +1 over Wake [now -1.5] **
BC defense can slow down WF run attack.BC offense should be able to score vs Wake D.And if there was ever a revenge game this is it.Peterson is 6-0 as qb.BC are good road warriors.

Buffalo +13 over Ohio ***

Last yr they beat them.Buffalo has no qbs but has a running game.Think they can keep this close.Buff scored 14 and 17 pts vs Cuse and Nevada.Think they can do the same and lose but cover.

San Jose St +1.5 over Smoo **
Smoo is so bad.Lost 15 in a row.San J is almost as bad.But just a little better.

Zona St -7 over Oregon St **
Walters and Sun devils are on a roll.Great qb,good Wr's.They win this by 10-14 pts

Nevada +14.5 over san diego st **
SD looked great last week at Mich.Think Kret and co have enough to keep it close.

Playing Notre Dame,New Mexico.Utah,and UAB for small plays..
