Under 11.5 rounds for 3 units at 150

A few weeks ago I was planning on betting agasint Toney because he was weighing over 250 pounds. But after seeing him yesterday at the press conference I changed my mind. Booker is a cruiserweight who is moving up for this fight. And from what I saw of him at the press conference he hasn't really been going all out training wise. Look for Toney to KO Booker in 7.

Just read that there was a fight at the press conference and Toney hit Booker.

At pinnacle under 10.5 just went from +102 to -108, a small but significant change.

I just took Toney inside distance -118 at 5dimes, small play.

"the bunker"
toney`s soooo much better than booker.....

but, that was a torn achilles tendon he suffered....at his age,and 227,who knows how that thing will hold up....i`d like to see him in a real bout before i throw money around....i would put a little on the under(if i were wagering, and i`m not)...just in case that tendon isn`t ready...rather than putting it on the "toney under"...but that`s me....

b.l. knows what he`s doing....

toney is just to wild,though....he`s got to be the absolute most fearless m.f.`er to come down the pike......lol

if everything`s cool, toney should get the "w"....and a good chance at the stoppage...227 is a bit heavy...but i thought he was heavy vs holifield and look what happened...

well considering he weight 252 less than 2 months ago I think 227 is pretty good for Toney right now. I think Toney has Booker crapping his pants right now. I hope to god Klitschko gives this guy a tittle shot down the line because Toney is the kind of guy that will get the average fans into boxing again.

From boxingtalk...

"Three-division world champion James Toney just underwent a ninety-minute operation to mend what Dr. Tony Daly described as a ruptured biceps tendon in the elbow. Toney suffered the injury in the FIRST ROUND of his bout last Thursday against Rydell Booker. Dr. Daly expects a full recovery with a return to the ring for "Lights Out" after approximately three months of rehabilitation, a strengthening program and then his normal preparation period for a bout, projected to be February or March, 2005."

I was wondering why Toney didn't destroy Booker, now I know.

look at toney`s musculature now.....there`s a guy that needs to be tested for "juice".....juice and age=injuries...

the guy looks like a linebacker....he was never what i`d call a muscle guy....he is now...

Its all upper body with him. He is trying to be a true heavyweight. He could only lift upperbody for a while when he hurt his leg. I just read that Goosen talked to him and when his bicep injury heals, he will not be doing heavy weight training anymore. He really doesnt need it, he is the most skilled heavyweight out there. I hope he gets a shot at Vitali before its all said and done. He really brings it and i would give him a shot. It would be really exciting seeing a former middleweight fighting a 6'6 dude.
