This is a good reason to play AZ....NO Womack..cant hit, refuses to bunt and utilize his speed, terrible mechanics in the field. Finley..which I know is as good of CF as they come but he hit a mere 240 in 2001 and in 2002 hit 235 throughout the yr until the last two months when he went on a rampage pushing his avg to 279 or 280 something. Spivey is a great athlete but is swinging at bad pitches and finds himself 0-2 in the count with many abats. Spivey will bring himself to the top of his gm soon but with Baerga having a spectacular sp trn I dont mind him as a fill in until Spivey finds his head and going bk to his hitting mechanics.

good points. I saw the names of the hitter's who are taking their places and think there won't be much dropoff. In the past I used to take the other team if one team is resting a few starters and it always seems like the team that is w/o a few starters hits the ball well that day. No play for me but just wanted to let everyone know as soon as it was announced.

Good call Crazy on the gm. AZ hit the ball much better and Baerga as well as others contributed today to their avg but I will be damn if the 3rd base coach( Rodriguez) didn't run them out of an inning and 2 toher instances where their were some horrible baserunning mistakes by the D-Backs. It took 2 big innings away in which they had the bases loaded with 1 out and 2nd and 3rd with no outs but base running mistakes that led to run downs and the runner being tagged out that led to their down fall today. Take nothing away from Colo. Penny..the guy threw a hell of a gm. Anyways thx for the info and please keep us posted of future lineup changes. UR help is much appreciated. Gl this yr.
