I took it at +200 and again at +185.

Nice parlay klitschko inside and Thompson straight. pays 350.

I played Thompson very big at a local book at +275
but +185 is stii a good bet.

I have hoped that the odds would be even and then i bet Tony without hesitation.

The only thing Krasniqi has going for him is germany.
Power stamina workrate reach i see a clear advantage for Tony. Krasniqi has big problems with tall fighter with a decent jab.

If the awful slow hofmann hold his own and busted Krasniqi up pretty bad Thompson should do is with ease. (Krasniqi should have won this fight still, the draw was a joke)

Krasniqis best performances were against slower and smaller puncher Sanil Sam and Brewster.
Then he can jab and box from the outside.

His last fight against Minto was pretty horrible and krasniqis workrate and movment were terrible

Thompson won dec against Timor Ibrahimov and Guinn in his last two outings.
I saw the last fight against Ibrahimov and thompson did what he had to do ( box from the outside). The only question watching that fight was does he stop timor or not.
The same Ibrahimov just kicked Timos Hofmanns butt in germany and was very close to be the first to stop him. My point is ibrahimov is not a bad fighter.

tony thompson is underrated. He isa big not fat heavy who can punch and was never down or even hurt in a fight to my knowledge (please correct me if this is wrong)

He is basically undefeated. He lost a ****ing 4 round dec in his 5 pro fight against eric kirkland.

I can go on and on. I waited for this fight and now i play hit hard and heavy.

Biggest dog play for me since Vitaly Klitschko to knock out Lewis.
Well this one didnt work out but at this odds i would play Vitaliy again anytime.

But the odds are dropping so i stop. (sorry i played it again at +180)

Good luck

The line is moving rather fast. It was +175 then b4 I could make a play it went to +150. I think it's an even fight so +150 is still decnt value. I wasn't overly impressed with Thompson over Ibrag but he does what he needs to do to win. I don't consider him a top dog but @6' 5", a good jab and south paw to boot he'll beat the pretenders which I think Krasnici is. It's going to be close and you should have a scalp option the way the line is moving. GL

I just checked the line again and it's +125...already a scalp option exists for you.

wish i`d seen it early on.......thompson`s a tough guy to fight....

i`m not so sure about thompson`s power and work rate........but,being an awkward lefty and a fairly solid technical guy,i agree....

at the odds you got,it was a steal...somebody fell asleep at the wheel....

lord...if this actually opened at +200,this is as fast as i`ve ever seen a line drop......like a turd from a tall cow`s ass....

nice get,t......

Thats 5 dimes feel out line. You can bet only 250 one time and then again when the line moved.

powerwise :
if you read the fight reports of the guinn fight, he was very close of stopping Guinn.
Btw he was a 2 to1 dog in this fight also. I missed that one.

Another thing i like is he wins his fights clear and decisive. He first fight was a MD but then its UD all the way. I want that in germany.

I like the spirit of Thompson, he forgot his boxing shoes against Ibrahimov. So what. He borrowed some snickers from a friend in the audience and fought. I have never ever seen someone fight with sneakers on tv in a ring.

Line is bouncing around like crazy...

When I read this post last night, the line was -130/+100, now its back up to -205/+165

A grabbed a small piece of +165 but I have a feeling I'll end up getting jobbed on this one. Tony has to stop him, which is very possible, if Brewster can stop him...anyone can.

Btw, I was on Thompson over Guinn at +200

krasniqi`s losses have both been by stoppage....so,for thompson to win by decision,i`d guess it would have to be fairly clear cut...

i`m no brewster fan.....but,he makes me a little leery.........yes,he`s no technical master....and i`m certainly not crazy about the guy.....he`s very limited....

but, lord, the guy has a puncher`s chance against most guys....his chin, power and resolve make him dangerous...his stoppage of krasniqi isn`t a shocker to me....it had reached the point in that fight in which it was all or nothing for brewster....

that`s what makes him dangerous...he doesn`t lay down....he was beaten down vs klit and somehow he out-gutted him....

and i believe that brewster`s a much bigger puncher than thompson...as we`ve seen in several of his fights, brewster can`t outpoint his opponents..lord,he couldn`t outpoint meehan(he lost that fight)..so he goes for broke.....

thompson`s a better fighter,imo....a good bit better...but,i think he`d be more amenable to winning by decision....

and that`s where it gets dicey...

all that said....and i know we could get jobbed....i`m on him with you,tony....i grabbed the +125....and if it`s still at +165 as box indicated,i`ll grab me some more...

why isn`t this on t.v.?....that sucks....

Klitschko is as high as -650 in Vegas, but I attribute that to the screw the squares/tourists gimmick. Trouble is the take-back sucks so it can't be middled. I like Klits here. Steward will have him prepared. Price is unacceptable straight up, so a prop is my only option, or a parlay.

Affirmative. It's just wonderful here now; only around 110-112 degrees!

Exellent Frank. Is it true that many sportsbooks in Vegas offers odds on small type of fights (ESPN fights, Telefutura fights for example) or it is not true?
Also you said Wlad is -650 now. But is it in all books in Vegas or it is just in one?
I am planing to move to Vegas but not in 2007 unfortunately.
Glad to meet someone from Vegas on this forum, Frank!

Actually, you will see lines on many of the obscure fights at the off-shores. 5Dimes being one of them. If a particular casino is hosting a fight, they may hang up a number on it. The very large strip casinos usually have inflated prices on the "perceived" better boxer, or chalk. This is just a premium they charge, and get away with usually. Sometimes you will see a better price here than off-shore, or a huge straddle, enough to scalp. Lets just say, you have to shop diligently if you want to find an edge. GL.

Thanks Frank. So in another words, usually casinos does not have choices like 5dimes have.

Hey Tony any chance when you post a pick you can also post the date of the fight like Box does? Sometimes i get a little lazy and this is one of those times. Not saying all your post just one like this one. Box usually covers a lot of them. Saves lazy guys like me some time of trying to find a book that has the fight. If not no big deal.

Thompson/Luan is July 14th I think. Overall, Montana had a good write up but I'd disagree and say Luan has more power than Thompson, IMO....
