Last week I really liked the card but I didn't trust my stuff (1-1 as a result).
This week I really disliked the card and I had no choice but to tread accordingly.
Denver(-4 & -4') over Seattle (1*)
- - Picture a Seattle team that from before Day 1 has been much more reminiscent of 2004 than 2005, a team that even during its Super Bowl run is marked by usually having to play near the top of its game to win and isn't familiar with winning ugly like a Bears or Steelers squad, on the road at one of the league's toughest venues, and drawing a fairly desperate and prepared opponent, in search of an early spark, and giving gifted Jay Cutler every chance to look like the next coming of Brett Favre. Or not.
FWIW - I sniffed at but went very small with New Orleans(-7), Minnesota(+9), Dallas(-3)(-115), Jacksonville/Miami(Un35'), Pittsburgh(-7), St. Louis(-6'), Cincinnati(-3), Oakland(-3) and Buffalo(+5).
