St. Louis -2

Cant figure why the line drop so much when everywhere I checked the consensus seems to be with St. Louis. My reasoning behind this play is that St. Louis is tough at home (12-3). They play extremely tough defense and will be going against an Iowa team that isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut, especially with no low post presence.

Michigan -3

This is more of an anti-Mizzou play than anything else. I think this team are 'pigs'. They have no desire to be in the NIT. As for Michigan, there program is heading back in the right direction after all the sanctions and a good showing in the NIT matters to them.

Fading my lame-ass Hawkeyes as well, jr11. They bussed down to St Looey yesterday, which isn't the easiest trip from Iowa City as its not all 4 lane road quite yet. In addition, we had some snow here in the Midwest yesterday, and I'm not sure if they had to deal with that at all.
The Hawkeyes were pathetic against Michigan in the Big-10 tourney, and I think its because of the short bench. They got no gas left in their tanks and they are just looking for the season to end.

On the other hand, Michigan played a solid game against the Hawkeyes and Ammaker(sp?) looks to have got the program headed in the right direction with the young talent he has brought to Ann Arbor.

Its not a "home" game for St Louis in that the game is being played out in St Charles, Mo, which is a St Louis suburb, but I can't believe there will be too many Iowa fans at this game.

Also leaning towards the under 124 in this one as that Billikin defense should eat up a lot of clock and with Iowa's poor shooting from both the floor and the line a final of 55-50 St Louis would not be too suprising.

Thanks, jr11. Of course, its gone exactly the other way so far. Iowa up 9 and it could have been much worse after the 21-9 or whatever it was that Iowa was up to start the game.
Iowa has a bit of a foul problem, and the pace slowed down a bit those last 5 minutes to end the half. Not investing any more money into this one, better fish to fry later this week.
After that 724 I tossed a couple week ago, I had a 579 and a 534 last week. Subbed at a different house last night and shot a 612.
State tourney April 3rd and 4th. Hopefully I'll be throwing it a bit better than I am right now....
