With the recent passing of Richard "Boner" Stabone in the ABC sitcom "Growing Pains".......I have decided to put together a small list of....

The best "TV buddies"


1. "Vinnie" from Doogie Howser MD

Not only would Vinnie always come through the window to see his buddy Doogie, but he always found ways to get out of "sticky situations"....you go Vinnie......you go:mj07:

I would need to compile a list before putting them into a top 10.
Top of my head:
Cheers: Sidekick to Sam could be any of them but my fav had to be Coach.
Seinfeld: Any next to Jerry. I lean towards George.
Entourage: Ari(Piven) sidekick to Vinnie maybe my top one.
Saved by the bell: Screech.
Growing Pains: Boner
Different Strokes: Dudley.

Those are some starters with tons more on my mind.

2. Its Always Sunny in Philly - Charlie to Dennis & Mac.
3. Seinfeld - George to Jerry.
4. Cheers - Coach to Sam.
5. Beavis & Butthead
6. The Shield - Shane to Vic Mackey.(Nobody said it had to be comedy. And boy did their friendship go south.) :142smilie

To me the rest could tossed into a hat for 7-10 with about 20 contenders.
