In the spirit of Christmas I tried to ignore the remarks that somehow. someone on this board would be upset that a Taliban leader was killed. But now I have to ask, since this seems to be latest lie these pro Bush War guys are spreading. Dog's, show me one person on this board who would be unhappy that a Taliban leader was killed?

Steive you could have asked at more opportune time--
Spytheweb is perfect example of liberal that finds some way to down play positive efforts of our troops (this thread) yet in very next post throw up casalities like its the troops that are his concern and not political motive as you note in his thread.

Would be similiar to me reporting recent killings in malls on Christmas Eve and blaming it on Santa.

If troops are his concern--somehow he had chance to support them and didn't--

You'll note several on list from here that are against the war and did support the troops which is A-OK with me.

I just don't care for those the fanny packers would go into shock if told Salvation army was drafting them for duty for a day--and use troop casualties as political agenda.

Can you imagine the wailing he could do if he was around during workld wars-korea or vietnam--where casuaties rates in a month exceeded entire toll from Afgan and Iraq wars collectively.Jack would have to upgrade bandwith.

I will let Spy defend himself. But you would have to admit that there are very few, if any, members of this board who want the worst for America or our troops. Many of us feel that the Invasion of Iraq has weakened our fight in the war on terror. That stance has been supported by the bi-partisan Iraq Study. Conservatives like Pat Buccahon agree with our position that the invasion of Iraq was a mistake. And for you to end a statement like "Good news for most of us." implies that it is bad news for some of us. And that is simply not true.

Not saying anyone is wishing troops ill fate--am saying their motive is political--geez Stevie read his post --ONE MORE TIME--
-------------------------------------------------

"4 soldiers die in Iraq merry xmas Mr Bush

Soon the American death will surpass the 3,000 that were killed on Sept 11, 2001. Bush will have killed more Americans than Bin Laden, with a few thousand more to come. Troops die while Bush is fat and happy, feeding his fat face in that hellhole called west Texas. Rewording his stay the course policy, plus sending more troops to the area to be shot at. If he pulls out now Iraq policy will be viewed as a failure, if he pulls out a year from now Iraq will be viewed as a failure with another 1,000-1,200 American dead. What does he care, he's gamiling with someone else's money. This guy should be in jail.

and see if you can remotely see how I can come to that conclusion.
