Clear choice here is New Orleans. I would rate a proper line at about -3. Toronto is abysmal on the road and as of late is losing their scoring touch. They scored an embarassing 8 4th quarter points in their last game against Memphis in which they lead by 4 going into the final frame.

These two teams met in Toronto a month back or so and New Orleans led the whole game until they collapsed in the last 4-5 minutes of the 4th quarter. New Orleans has played a lot of close games and are better then their record indicates...slightly better anyways.

2 poor teams playing but the home court advantage should be the difference.

New Orleans pk

Not so clear this game could go either way and since when is New Orlenas a favorite to win any game ? The raptors have lost 2 straight tough games against two really good home teams and they kept the games close, the Raptors need a win and I think they'll get it here, even though they never play good against the Hornets, they should be able to get this one

Not saying the outcome is clear but the pick is. Am saying New Orleans has a greater chance of picking up a victory imo, I'd rate it 57/43ish for NO.

Those two close games are not as impressive if looked upon closer. Their last game against Memphis (they did not cover the spread) was against a depleted squad who simply outworked and outsmarted Toronto. Even though they have a great home court record Memphis was without Wells, Swift and Gasol.
Versus San Antonio it was clear San Antonio was never playing a top gear. They experimented with their lineup during the game and still were able to build a 20 point lead in the 2nd half and maintained a very safe distance to the finish line. Toronto made a meaningless push in the last minutes of the game to make the score appear competitive.

Just simply look at the home/away records. Toronto is 6-23 on the road while New Orleans is 10-18 at home. Obviously you have to look deeper then that but it gives you a start. New Orleans is also playing better ball recently (4-0 ATS last 4). Saying Toronto needs a win is an understatement. They need about 10 in a row! They have ZERO chance of making the playoffs.
