NY/Toronto over 10
Tonight we have Sean Douglass squaring off against Javier Vazquez. Douglass has only made 2 previous starts this year giving up 8 runs and 11 hits in only 10 innings. He's already faced the Yankees twice in his carreer only lasting 6 innings while yielding 8 ER's on 10 hits. Add to the fact once the Yanks knock Douglass out of the game, the Toronto bullpen has been torched over its last 3 posting an ERA of5.71 w/ a WHIP of 1.70. For the Yanks Vazquez takes the hill, who in his last seven starts has given up at least 3 ER's in each game. In the last 3 games that Vazquez has started, he's given up 10 ER's on 18 hits in 17 innings. Vazquez sports an ERA of 5.48 when facing Toronto. Vazquez sports the following stats for his last 3 starts, WHIP of 1.30 and an ERA of 5.09. The Yanks bullpen (which has been a problem for this team all year) has faltered lately as well with a WHIP of 1.75 and an ERA of 5.06 in their last three. The Toronto bats that have been silenced for most of the year, are also starting to make some. I'll take a shot with the over 10 here, as long as the wind isn't whipping in.
Other games of consideration are Colorado and Tampa.
Good luck tonight guys
