Formerly B-grade starter Jack Flaherty has been grim in his first two starts, this following up an equally grim spring training. Former 1st round pick Mick Abel had the considerably better spring training, but has stunk the joint up through his first 2 and was hopelessly ineffective last season. Mediocre bullpens have gotten workout this series, and bats from both sides have been productive. Most recent I saw forecasted 9mph wins blowing out to right-center. Umpire scheduled is Adrian Johnson, who shouldn't mess this up for me. One caveat is that it's an early game (1:40 pm est), due to it being getaway day (Tigers head home to face Miami starting Friday, while Twins head out for a 3-gamer across the border in Toronto starting Friday night, before promptly re-crossing to face Bosox for 3...schedule makers like the Twins, aye?).
That's overkill but so's been my longevity.
