In the past I have always done well in the regular season and do terrible in the bowls??? Same old same this year down 6 units already-fade me.
Hawk do you think it?s the extra time each team gets put into only one opponent? :shrug:
Yeah plus all injured guys are back plus they can tweak their offense some for surprises that the other teams have not prepared for. I still think one of the biggest factors is do teams really want to be there and how do they take this game. Its like the 1st game of the year--don't have much to go on-you can throw all the stats, tendencies, etc. out the window.
I am also spending alot of time on my wife's health issues and not focused at all on capping.

Things are good here--wife doing much better---played 18 this am--headed to candlelight services later, have to usher, then home for some good wine and pizza.
Don't like the game at all just wanted some action .

Speaking of golf, it?s been near 50 last few days here in the motherland? 55 today so me and my son and brother got 9 holes in. Course had closed for the season?reopened on Tuesday because it?s so warm and dry?so we had to walk but who cares? I golfed on Xmas eve!
Played like shit, but my son had his first birdie on a par 5 today so that was fun.
Warm rest of the week so maybe another round before we head for Belize on Friday for a week of swimming with da fishes, drinking and soaking up some sun. :toast:

This trip we are going to Placencia. It?s on a peninsula in the south of Belize near the border with Guatemala. Previous trips have been to Ambergris Caye which is in the northern part of Belize.
Lots of beach time this trip with some deep sea fishing thrown in and I?m sure a few beers will be consumed, too.

Belize city is the capital and only international airport in the country. Belize is tiny?a little bigger than Connecticut.
Belize city is a scary shithole and barely safe during the day but most only deal with the airport area which is very safe.
Lots of ex-pats from America and Europe live there and there are some beautiful areas once you?re outside the city.
Curious as to what area your friend goes?
San Ignacio is a beautiful town which is west of Belize City where lots of Mennonites have farms and the town has many expats living in it.
if there was a golf course in the country I?d seriously consider buying some land and building a retirement home in Belize.

Beautiful area of the country and far enough inland to be safe from hurricanes. About an hour and a half drive to San Ignacio from Belize city if memory serves me right.
