Hawkeye, Can I ask your reasoning behind the USC total. I am playing the under.

Offense last 5
USC 67
ARZ 72.6
Defense last 5
USC 66.4
ARZ 71.6

Offense
USC (away) 71.3
ARZ (home) 83.7
Defense
USC (away) 68.0
ARZ (home) 71.9

Arizona has been playing better defense as of late and USC has a good "d". Although their last meeting went for 153 total. Stewart is most likely out USC's 2nd leading scorer. Just my thoughts. Was wondering your angle, since I have high regard for your capping of totals. Thanks.

Some gut feeling in this-Arz owes USC=don't think Arz looks forward but will want to push the offense tonite and leave a good feeling in their players mind before UCLA--USC will try the whole way and keep Arz gong--I agree Arz is playing better defense-out of my 5 plays its my least favorite. Don't let me change your mine-go with how you feel-don't change yuor mind. GL

Appreciate the reply. I will keep the bet. I placed it earlier today. I have one other total I placed and would like to know your thoughts.

Purdue/Ind under 133

The public is all over this under at a 2 to 1 rate, which worries me. The line has dropped a full point from 133.5 to 132.5.

Last 5
Offense
IND 66
PUR 62

Defense
IND 64
PUR 57

Home/away
Offense
IND 64
PUR 74

Defense
IND 67
PUR 57

THere last 5 home games totaled 100 (mich st), 138 (ohio st), 111 (ill), 120 (mich), 124 (penn st). They held all, but ohio st under 60 points (OSU 78). They play much better defense at home, almost a full 10 point decrease in points against. Plus they have revenge on their minds after getting pounded earlier this year at IND. Here's the link http://purdueexponent.org/index.php/module/Section/section_id/4/?module=article&story_id=4233

Basically saying how they were embarassed and didn't want it to happen again. That total on 1/10/07 was 143 over 133.5 for the game.

Just think they will come out and play a tough tight game. Also like them to win the game.

Any thoughts? Thanks again.

I know he is questionable with throat problems. I hope your right, I have USC +7. Placed it last night. I read today he was most likely out, but it wasn't from a reliable source. Will wait for conformation. He will not be 100% though.

Hawkeye, sorry to hijack thread. I apoligize.

Ole-Reb--Total is 117--1st game 110-I have it capped at 121--was thinking an over but UCLA I think will come out with super def against a non-offensive team-plus they are getting back 2 players tonite I believe-Can see UCLA scoring more after the defeat at WVa. If I bet it's an over or nothing for me-but am passing. GL
