Carolina -3

Carolina is a much better team than their record and the public gives them credit for. Their 3-0 start was against pretty week competition and since then they lost 8 straight before winning last week. But in those 8 striaght losses they losss to Arizona by 3 and Dallas by only 1, both games should have been wins for the Panthers. Their other 6 games during that 8 game loosing streak was Tampa Bay twice, Atlanta twice, NO and at GB. These are the best 4 teams in the NFC. Thats a pretty tough road to hoe for any team. They did bounce back last week with a win against a pretty good Cleveland team. Also they get Brenston Buckner back this week after serving his 4 game suspension for banned substance. I have learned that he has been keeping himself in good shape and was playing very good before the suspension with 23 tackles and 4 sacks in 8 games. This should slow down Corey Dillon.

TB -3

Vick and Atlanta have made a nice run and played some very good football over that past 8 weeks and have learned how to win. However, TB's defense will contain Vick and Atlanta has some key injuries to keep and eye on. Ray Buchanan, Warrick Dunn and Travis Hall are all questionable. Vick also has the flu. These are very key players in the game and will only help the TB -3 play if they are not 100%.

yeah they do get Buckner back, but this team is riddled with problems and injuries. Lamar Smith is gone, no Deshaun Foster, no Steve Smith, no Julius Peppers...I know they have been playing teams very tight, for the most part, but I think they may be looking down at the Bengals this week, as if they're almost looking past them.

IF the Bengals can hold on to the ball this week....they may win...

I just think Carolina is being coached very well, but the lack of talent is going to have to catch up at some point.

KC -4.

I like KC a lot this week. KC's offense has been firing on all cylindars in the last 2 weeks scoring 81 points. I dont think they will score in the 40's against SL but they will get no less than 28. The Cheifs defense, while it is not good by any means, it is however much better at home. They give up 33.33 points per game on the road but only 19.3 at home, a huge difference. That coupled with this being SL's 3rd straight road game makes this a strong play.
