Aaron Douglas, who played for Maryville HS, here in East TN, died Wed. night in Fernandina Beach, FL. He played TE for Maryville and was part of a HS team that did not lose a game while he was there.
He followed in his dad's footsteps going to UT, but wanted to transfer when Coach Dooley arrived. He spent one year at a JUCO, and was getting ready for his first year at Bama this fall.
His dad, David, was a former NFL lineman for the Bengals, playing alongside Anthony Munoz. I had the privilege of talking NFL football with David, and Larry Reubens, who played for the Packers and Bears, for a cpl hours one day. RollTide and Nole will remember Larry from tailgating with us.
