Pulling a U-haul trailer with a 2001 Honda Passport tomorrow. Anyone know where the plug is located for the trailer wiring harness?

In some cars it is where the spare tire is and sometimes under the car. If you bought this used, you have no idea if the owner stripped it.
I thought it was a car not an SUV.. I must of been thinking of a passat..

The Honda Passport is a compact SUV and marked Honda's first steps into the SUV market. The Passport's engine provides enough power to allow a tow conversion kit to haul small trailers. The vehicle isn't sold with a standard trailer wiring harness already included, so adding an adapter requires splicing into the taillight harness. Mistakes could cause problems with the rear vehicle lights, so you should only attempt this if you have experience cutting and splicing wiring.

Surf the web... a lot of trailer/hitch companies make harness adapters that are just plug in. (meaning you unplug the rear lighting harness and attach the add on harness in) Save alot of time, hassle, and future problems from a butchered in wiring harness.
