Ever wonder why banks have money and everybody else is in debt. You may think that banks loan money that they have on hand, no! The money they loan is made out of thin air, backed by the US government who gives them fiat currency. Your debt is changed into money. Ever wonder why the schools don't teach money theory, how money is made? They don't want people to know how it is made. Did you know that the federal reserve bank is a private bank and not part of the US government with board members interested only in making a profit. As you watch this video you won't believe how they put this system together. How they have you pay interest on money that does not exist. How long can this house of cards stand?

Buy gold, not "the standard" the dollar is toast...printing press toilet tissue...they can not print gold, silver, or other tangibles with a historic track record.....

My first auto in 1967 was a nice Mercury cougar (when they were worth a dam) cost 2317.00

Latest new car not US, Acura 28,500.

In 40 years, in buying power, cars are up more than ten fold...what is a dollar really worth?

I know you are attacking the poster on this one, but the video is actually pretty wild. It is educational and you should take the time to watch it for that reason alone. It's actually pretty wild and makes sense.

The most powerful? Does America make anything anymore? Most of our products are made in China, more and more countries are moving away from the dollar. The US and OPEC made a deal that the US would defend OPEC nations and they would sell their oil for US dollars. Many oil nations are switching to euros for oil. Even China who was buying US T bonds are now investing in a company called blackstone, who buys companies, so instead of investing in America, they are now buying America. When the next depression comes all checking and saving accounts will be zeroed out and most people will lost everything. But like in the 1929 market crash millionaires and billionaires will be made. Money is never lost it's only transfered. Those who have the money, (the banks) will buy up the land and companies for next to nothing and become even more rich. It will take a great President to standup and change the system and his or her life will be in danger for the power of money will not stand by and do nothing. I hope to see it in my life time, but not soon. When our government is on their payroll the welfare of America is put on the back burner.

i agree...we are going to have to change many things...including the way we approach our manufactiring situation(or lack thereof) and china...

if we had the sac,we could hamstring china in a hot minute...we don`t....and we probably won`t...unfortunately...

but,today.....what do you think happens to the rest of the western world when our market crashes?....

take a guess...

slowly circling the toilet......i think i`ll go shower in bleach...

Apathy? I know you are more than comfortable with status quo, but it is people like you that will facilitate the eventual collapse of this economy. You can't make money out of thin air and allow your government to spend its way into inconceivable debt. Enron was an economic machine until it was forced to show its hand. The US economy isn't much different.
