Like the way DET is playing, I'll forgive the hiccup vs. an underestimated MIN team. DET is 5-0 the last 5 vs. NYI, and the Isles seem to be tanking again going 0-2-1 the last 3 after winning 3 in a row. Situation also favors DET as they only allow 1.75gpg on 2 days rest with a scoring differential of +1.00gpg, conversely, NYI allow 3.22gpg on 2 DR with a SD of -1.45gpg. Osgood will probably be looking forward to playing his old team, but a 3.27GAA and .878 save pct. aren't going to help matters much.
